BLAST Slam II Event Overview
We are getting greeted to non-stop Dota 2 action. Despite seeing Tundra Esports lift the FISSURE Playground Belgrade 2025 trophy just days ago, we’re set for another Tier 1 event in the form of Blast Slam II. Similar to the previous iteration, Blast Slam II will follow the “King of the Hill” format.
Blast Slam II Participants
The event features ten teams that have been directly invited to the tournament. Refer to the image below to see a list of all participants:
All teams were invited. There was no qualification process.
Blast Slam II Tournament Format
The Blast Slam II event will begin with a Group Stage (February 4):

10 teams have been divided into two groups.

Round-robin format will be used.

All matches are played in Best of 1 format.

No teams will be eliminated, but they are seeded to the Playoffs according to their placement.
The Playoffs will follow the “King of the Hill” format (February 5 to 9):

The bracket features single-elimination.

Grand Final is Best of 5, while all other matches are played in Best of 3 format.
Blast Slam II Stand-ins
Unfortunately, two teams will enter the tournament without full force.
Kataomi` from the BetBoom Team has failed to secure a visa in time for Blast Slam II. As a result, the BetBoom Team has called upon their former captain TORONTOTOKYOto fill in for the position five role.
Nigma Galaxy will also attend without their star player, Miracle-. Though the reason for his absence was not revealed, Miracle- will be replaced by Ghost.
Blast Slam II is a $1,000,000 event that will run from February 4 to 9 in Copenhagen, Denmark.
