BTS recalculates DPC points for T1
The tournament organizer Beyond the Summit, which hosts the Southeast Asia Regional League and Finals, has recalculated the DPC points earned by T1.
The team incurred a 40% penalty of the points earned in the Regional Final. For 2nd place, T1 earned 120 DPC points, and its penalty was 52 points. The team's final score for the event is 68 points.
T1 received a penalty for playing in the Regional Final with a substitution. Instead of their main carry, ??Nuengnara "23savage" Teeramahanon, ??Kim "Gabbi" Villafuerte played. Initially, the organizer gave the team a double penalty because T1 used another substitution on the last map of the Regional Final. The team's midlaner, ??Karl "Karl" Baldovino, lost his Internet connection and the team finished the match with another substitution. But after an investigation, BTS removed the second penalty.
BOOM Esports also incurred a 40% penalty for participating in the Regional Final with a substitution: ??Souliya "JaCkky" Khoomphetsavong played instead of ??Justine Ryan Evangelista "Tino" Grimaldo. For the Final, the team got 150 points instead of 250.
