DLTV UPDATED TEAM RANKINGS: SEPTEMBER 27

Ranking
Published at: 2023-09-27 13:21:00

With the conclusion of DreamLeague Season 21, no more Tier 1 tournaments will occur until The International 2023 starts. We’ve updated our World Rankings to help you visualize which teams to look out for at the year's biggest event.

The Gaimin Gladiators have slowed down since their Bali Major victory, but their achievements this year cannot be overlooked. They remain the number one ranked team globally thanks to their win at the BetBoom DACHA LAN Stage.

However, Team Spirit are right behind them with a difference of only 11 points. Team Spirit have won back-to-back tournaments: the Riyadh Masters 2023 and DreamLeague Season 21. They are looking in TI form and are serious contenders to lift the Aegis.

Team Liquid has also slowed down, but they maintain their third-place ranking by a decent margin.

Shopify Rebellion displayed significant improvements in the recent DreamLeague Season 21, making it all the way to second place. They have jumped five slots thanks to their recent showing. Their drastic improvement has pushed the BetBoom Team down by one.

Tundra Esports retain their sixth-place ranking but are considered fierce opponents since they added Topson to the team. They didn’t have the best run in DreamLeague, but they could deal massive damage at The International with some time to practice.

Talon Esports, 9 Pandas, and Evil Geniuses have all dropped down in the ranking. Talon and Evil Geniuses finished last place in their DreamLeague groups, disappointing performances. Though 9 Pandas made the playoffs, they were quickly eliminated in the first round. Still, these three names have immense potential if they turn up at TI.

Last place is LGD Gaming, which stayed at the tenth position. LGD hasn’t attended any recent tournaments, so we can’t say much about them.
