DreamLeague S25 Group Stage Results
After a chaotic day with the 7.38 patch dropping in the middle of the tournament, the first Group Stage of DreamLeague Season 25 has ended apart from a three-way tiebreaker in Group B. Once everything is sorted, a total of eight teams would have been eliminated, while the remaining survivors advance to the second Group Stage.
Group A Results
As expected, the top three teams in Group A consist of Tundra Esports, the BetBoom Team, and Team Falcons, all achieving double-digit wins throughout 14 maps played. The winners of Blast Slam II only dropped a single map, boasting a terrifying 13 - 1 record. Heroic closely tails behind with eight points to qualify for the next stage.
Shopify Rebellion, who started 4 - 0 on the first day, only managed two more wins in their next 10 maps. Meanwhile, Moodeng Warriors, Xtreme Gaming, and 9Pandas join the North American squad in elimination with no tiebreakers needed.
Group B Results
Team Spirit managed to claim the top spot with a clean 12 - 2 score. Coming in second is the biggest surprise of the tournament so far – Chimera qualified for the second Group Stage with nine points. Though they are not performing up to their usual standards, PARIVISION also made it through with eight points.
The fourth spot remains in contention, as Yakult's Brothers, Team Liquid, and Gaimin Gladiators are all tied with seven points. A threeway tiebreaker will occur, with only one slot up for grabs. This means two of the three will end up eliminated.
The two teams shown out the door in Group B are BOOM Esports and AVULUS, who only managed four and two wins, respectively.
Once the threeway tiebreaker is settled, eight remaining teams will be seeded into the same group to go for another round. By the end of the second Group Stage, only four teams will remain in DreamLeague Season 25.
