The International 11 rescheduled to 2022
Yesterday, information appeared about The International 11, according to which the tournament will hold in 2022. It reported by representatives of the Belarusian eSports Federation on a personal page on VKontakte.
Previously, they applied for the International 11 in Minsk. Due to the outbreak of the Pandemic in the world, all eSports events are holding offline canceled. Yesterday, the Federation published a letter from Valve representatives regarding the application:
"Thank you for your response to host The International 2021. As we are all well aware the Covid-19 Pandemic has forced several adjustments for events worldwide and TI is no different. Valve has postponed The International 2020 in Stockholm. We will be following up with communications in the coming months with your team directly as to what the target dates of the event will be for 2022."
Based on the received information, we can say that The International 10, which was supposed to hold this year in Stockholm, will reschedule to 2021. Valve previously announced it but didn't give us any exact dates.
If the information is correct, then 2020 will be the first year after the release of Dota 2, when The International is not held.
