Overview of China DPC Division One matches for May 23
Invictus Gaming beat Piggy Killer. And Team Aster destroyed Team Bright. Both meetings ended with a score of 2-0.
IG 2:0 Piggy Killer
The first map of the match went on for a long time without any clear advantage. On the 25th minute IG managed to get Roshan and started gaining the advantage right away. Piggy Killer tried to turn the game around, but it didn't work. A lost fight for a tier-2 tower on the top line cost them the game. Emo did great on Windranger and finished with a 14/1/11 stat.
On the second map, Piggy Killer had no answer. All lines for them were lost, and the gold advantage was already 8,000 towards IG by the 14th minute. It became difficult to play and Piggy Killer couldn't get back into the game.
Aster 2:0 Bright
On the first map, Aster came up with something unusual. SumaiL played on the support and Boboka went into the mid. But the game was not affected. With Aghanim's Scepter on Beastmaster and Butterfly on Medusa, Aster was already going into the opponent's high ground, and Bright couldn't even get one kill. Aster confirmed their favorite status and finished the game at 26 minutes with a score of 14-5.
On the second map, everyone played their positions. Aster picked Snapfire for SumaiL, who by the 6th minute was ahead of the enemy mider in gold by 2,000. The difference in class was so significant that the advantage grew at an incredible rate, and after another lost fight, Bright wrote "gg" in the 18th minute.
The DPC CN 2023 Tour 3 Division I matches run from May 16 through June 4. Eight teams play for $205,000, 1,150 DPC points and four berths to The Bali Major 2023.
