Russian members of HellRaisers were not allowed into Ukraine for bootcamp
Esports organization HellRaisers has told that 3 Russian members, ??Geogrii "Gilgir" Svistunov, ??Yaroslav "Limitless" Parshin and ??Maxim "re1bl" Afanasyev, couldn't cross the border into Ukraine. The organization planned to hold a bootcamp for the DPC Regional Finals there.
HellRaisers reported that the players had all the necessary documents but received a refusal from the Ukrainian government. The official reason is unknown. It may be due to the difficult political situation.
??Arman "Malady" Orazbayev and ??Alimzhan "watson" Islambekov, nationals of Kazakhstan, could arrive at the bootcamp. As was expected, they will play the Regional Final from the bootcamp. In turn, the players who could not come will play it from home.
The DPC CIS Regional Final is scheduled for February 18-20. In addition to HellRaisers, there will be Team Spirit, Virtus Pro and PuckChamp. The total prize pool of the tournament is $100,000 and 380 DPC points.
