Shopify Rebellion Introduces Three New Faces
North American organization Shopify Rebellion has announced that they are back with a new Dota 2 roster for the upcoming 2023-2024 season. Abed, Cr1t, and Fly had previously left the roster, leaving Arteezy and SabeRLighT as the remaining players.
The new Shopify Rebellion roster will feature Yopaj, Thiolicor, and Kitrak, forming the following roster:
Shopify Rebellion underwent a huge roster change after disappointing results throughout 2023. The team finished second place at DreamLeague Season 21 but had a disastrous year overall, getting eliminated at The International 12 in 13-16th place. At that point, change was bound to happen.
Interestingly, Shopify Rebellion targeted another Filipino Mid-Laner in the form of Yopaj to fill in Abed’s spot. Meanwhile, the two support players played in the Western European region, with Kitrak previously playing for OG, while Thiolicor played with Luna Galaxy (former D1 Hustlers).
