Top 10 Players Of 2024: Nisha (6)
Considered one of the greatest mid-laners of all time, Nisha will be taking the sixth position on DLTV’s best players of 2024 list.
Team Accolades
Team Liquid, under the helm of 33, started the year quite well with a silver medal at BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024, but the team couldn’t maintain their strong start with disappointing results in the next tournaments, namely DreamLeague Season 22, where the team exited the event in the Group Stage.
After a string of continuous unsatisfactory performances, Team Liquid turned the ship at the right time starting July, with Riyadh Masters 2024. Team Liquid comfortably reached the Grand Final of the Saudi tournament, but lost to their arch nemesis, the Gaimin Gladiators, 0 - 3 to finish second. In this devastating series, Nisha even shed tears before the third map.
Coming off the loss at Riyadh, Team Liquid played Elite League Season 2, a tournament which most Tier 1 teams skipped. Though they were the clear favorites, Team Liquid struggled in the Grand Final against the 1win Team, but managed a 10,000 net worth deficit comeback in the fifth map to win the tournament.
Though the boys in blue were not expected to perform well at The International 2024, something changed, and they were clearly the best team at the event. Team Liquid would go on an undefeated run in the Playoffs, not dropping a single map and demolishing the Gaimin Gladiators 3 - 0 in the Grand Final, giving Nisha his long-awaited TI winner status.
