Changes of the 7.27d patch
On August 27, update 7.27d released in the Dota 2 client. The changes affected the heroes and game items. In this article, we'll highlight the nerfs of the most popular heroes in patch 7.27d.
Clockwerk became very popular in the 7.27 patch: he has a Pick Rate of 40% in many tournaments. Since the patch release, the hero has been picked 697 times and has a WR of 52.80%.
Changes:
- Movement speed reduced from 315 to 310
- Rocket Flare vision duration reduced from 8 to 6
- Level 15 Talent increased from +1 Power Cogs Hit To Kill to +2
Spectre is a key carry hero in the 7.27 patch. He has been selected 557 times in all tournaments and has a WR of 53.86%.
Changes:
- Spectral Dagger damage reduced from 90/140/190/240 to 75/130/185/240
- Desolate damage reduced from 24/36/48/60 to 15/30/45/60
- Haunt cooldown increased from 180/150/120 to 180/160/140
DOOM is one of the most popular heroes in the 7.27 patch. In some tournaments, his Ban Rate reached 100%. During the patch, he was picked 586 times and has a WR of 55.12%.
Changes:
- Scorched Earth duration reduced from 16 to 15
- Devour hp regen reduced from 2/6/10/14 to 1/5/9/13
- Level 10 Talent reduced from +13% Scorched Earth Movement Speed to +10%
Venomancer has firmly entered the meta in recent tournaments and regularly gets into picks and bans of teams. During patch 7.27, the hero was chosen 409 times, and his WR is 54.77%.

- Plague Ward gold bounty increased from 14-17 to 15/17/19/21

- Poison Sting slow reduced from 11/13/15/17% to 9/11/13/15%
