Shopify Rebellion Get Revenge On Nouns To Qualify For DreamLeague Season 22

News

Last week, the two North American titans, Shopify Rebellion and Nouns, clashed in the Upper Bracket of the NA/SA Qualifier for BetBoom DACHA Dubai 2024. In that matchup, Nouns emerged victorious, preventing Arteezy’s crew from qualifying for the million-dollar event.

The two teams got a rematch in the DreamLeague Season 22 NA Qualifiers Grand Final. Shopify Rebellion won the series 3-2, ensuring each team takes turns at their respective $1,000,000 tournaments.

The first two maps were stomped by Shopify Rebellion, ending both maps at the 30-minute mark. With such convincing victories, the mental game of Nouns had to be at an all-time low, but that wasn’t the case.

An impeccable performance from Yuma’s Terrorblade and Gunnar’s Doom helped Nouns get back into the series by winning the third map. At this point, the series score was 2-1 in favor of the Rebels

The fourth map was an exhilarating back-and-forth game. Shopify Rebellion had a 14,000 net worth lead at the 48-minute mark, but the gold lead didn’t tell the whole story of the game as they had an Alchemist lineup. For the second time in this series, Yuma’s Terrorblade could carry the team after a 1081 GPM and almost flawless performance.

The series' final game had no business being as entertaining as it was. Shopify Rebellion won the laning stage and converted their advantage into a 25,000 net worth lead at the 42-minute mark. After killing Yuma’s Luna and two other heroes without buybacks, Shopify Rebellion had every chance to end the game or at least secure Mega Creeps. However, Yopaj and Kitrak had the bright idea of fountain-diving the two remaining heroes, which led to a team wipe in the opposite direction.

The game was extremely chaotic, with both teams trading fights. Even though Shopify Rebellion held the net worth lead throughout the entire game, many moments would make you think Nouns could pull off the comeback.

Fortunately, the Rebels can sleep well tonight, as they still won the series and qualified for DreamLeague Season 22. Much credit must be given to Thiolicor, who played a clean game on his Hoodwink, ending the game with a KDA of 12/5/33 as a Soft Support.

Sadly, Nouns could not complete the reverse sweep, but they will still go to Dubai in a few weeks.
