Ti12 Direct Invites - Who’s Going And The Possibilities

Dota 2

The biggest esports event of the year, The International 2023, is just over the horizon. Twelve of the best-performing teams of the DPC season will receive direct invitations to the event in Seattle. In this article, we’ll update you with the confirmed invites and the rest of the standings.

The Bali Major is a crucial tournament, as it will be the last event to give out DPC points. Teams who fall under the threshold and fail to qualify for the Bali Major will only be able to receive direct invites to Ti12 if other teams around their standing fail to perform well at the Major.

So far, five teams have guaranteed their appearance in The International:

  • Team Liquid
  • Gaimin Gladiators
  • Evil Geniuses
  • Shopify Rebellion
  • Tundra Esports

These five teams have consistently placed at the top of their regional DPC Tours and have made deep runs in the Berlin and Lima Major. Even if any of them place last in the Bali Major, they will still be going to The International.

Teams such as Talon Esports, 9 Pandas, Team Spirit, and beastcoast have great odds of making it to The International. They will only need a decent placing in the Bali Major to secure their spot. Even though Talon will miss out on Bali, they are almost guaranteed qualification.

Quest, Blacklist International, and Invictus Gaming are sitting very low on the rankings. Still, if any of these teams win the Bali Major, they will be awarded 600 DPC points and likely qualify for The International.

It will be a total bloodbath in Bali, as many TI dreams will be made or crushed in two weeks. Lots of scenarios can determine whether a team qualifies or not, and all the answers will be revealed in the Bali Major.
