DLTV BEST PLAYER AWARDS OF 2023, POSITION 1: SECOND PLACE
The BetBoom Team’s Nightfall claims the silver medal in our top five best Carry players of 2023. Epileptick1d had been known for having some of the best individual statistics ever since his Virtus.Pro days. He’s a very calculated player who minimizes mistakes and maximizes efficiency.
For a third of 2023, Nightfall was still playing in the Off Lane for the BetBoom Team but eventually reclaimed his role as the Carry.
Throughout last season, Nightfall played 192 maps on 28 different Carry heroes. The player is well-known for his extreme levels of hero versatility, but he enjoyed playing three heroes over the rest:
- Terrorblade (26 Maps, 58% Win Rate)
- Morphling (23 Maps, 61% Win Rate)
- Medusa (15 Maps, 73% Win Rate)

- 14th place at Berlin Major 2023
- 2nd place at DreamLeague S20
- 6th place at Riyadh Masters 2023
- 3rd place at DreamLeague S21
- 5th place at The International 12
- 4th place at ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023
Even though a third of his statistics were collected when he was playing Off Lane, Nightfall still surpassed everyone in these individual statistics:
- Top 1 Average KDA: 7.64
- Top 1 (Least) Average Deaths Per Game: 2.15
It is also worth noting that in 2023, Nightfall had at least three accounts in the Top 20 European Leaderboard. This man does not maintain any social media presence or stream on Twitch. He devotes his entire life to Dota, which is why he’s among the best.
